Legal Boundary Surveys

Subdivision Layouts

If a property is to be partitioned or divided, it may require a surveyor to conduct a subdivision, followed by a subdivison plan.

Location Certificates

Also known as plot plans, or mortgage certificates, location certificate are often required by a bank to ensure that a dwelling and other relevant structures are located within a specified property.

Construction Surveys

Dealing with the layout or establishment of building corners, grid lines, vertical and horizontal control benchmarks, including curbing and other parking area features. Scotia Surveys is  capable of performing construction surveys from a preliminary stage to the final as-built stage.

Topographical Surveys

Topographical surveys are conducted to provide topographic information within a specified work area. Within the scope of a project, Scotia Surveys can provide contour plans of a site, includig spot elevations, volume calculations, cuts and fills,  and the creation of digital terrain models.
